1st Ride Out of 2008

Happy New Year to one and all.

I just want to up date you all on the arrangements for the Ride Outs

As a general rule I will be running a Ride Out on the 2nd Sunday of the Month. (Unless a special event or show means a change of date)

I will also be alternating the meeting points between our usual Cardiff, MacDonald’s meeting point and The BMW dealership at Bath Road, Bristol.

This is to accommodate both the Welsh and English following. Also the meeting /departure time will be slightly later to allow for anyone wishing to travel from either way, over the Bridge.

So the next Ride Out will be this weekend, Sunday the 13th of January. Departing 10am.

The following Ride Outs will be,

10th of February, Bristol.
9th of March, Cardiff
13th of April. Bristol.
etc etc.

This Sunday we will meet at MacDonald’s Restaurant at junction 32 of the M4 at Coryton Interchange, Cardiff.

Please note the new departure time of 10am.

We will be aiming to take in some Welsh Mountains (so bring your rain gear!!) and some Welsh Cafes (so bring some dinner money!)

Advanced Training Course.

I will soon be announcing dates for the next Four Day Advanced Course (leading to to a RoSPA Advanced Test). It is anticipated that the course will begin, running over a weekend in February, with the remaining practical days to be arranged to suit each student.

My web site shows that the price for the course has increased to £350 for 2008 (plus £50 for the RoSPA test), but anyone wishing to book on the next course and pay an £80 deposit before the end of January will get the course at the old price of £320.
