Advanced Motorcycle Training in France Anybody?

1st Class Rider Training is please to be able to offer (to a very limited number), alongside and in conjunction with Guernsey Motorcycle Training School, an Advanced Motorcycle Training Course in the Vendee Region of France in April.

Dates will be from Saturday 18th to Thursday the 23rd of April 2009. This will be a Four day training course, with the theory session being held in the UK (at a date to be arranged) before departing , via ferry, to France to carry out the Practical Road Ride Sessions.

The period in France will allow for formal training days and time for self practice (and time for relaxing and eating)

The cost of the course will be approximately £500 (not including Ferry, food and accommodation costs which can be verified for any interested parties.)

The accommodation is a fantastic Country Location, with swimming pool and evening meal provided by the Farmhouse owners to be arranged.

The trip will form part of a group with Instructors from Guernsey Motorcycle Training School and at the end of the course there will be opportunity to undergo an Advanced Motorcycle Test under the RoSPA scheme.

All the Instructors carrying out the training are Police Class 1 qualified former (or serving) Police Motorcyclists, with experience in riding throughout Europe.

This is a unique opportunity and places are strictly limited to just four, travelling from the UK to meet up with a similar number from the Guernsey Training School.

If anyone is interested please post your details in the comments at the end of this post and I will contact you to arrange the payment of a deposit.

I will add details of a link where you can view the accommodation and you can see that it is a very desirable location and an excellent opportunity to take your riding to another level.

This trip would also be open to anyone who may have undergone training with us in the past and there is no compulsion to undergo the RoSPA test. So you can enjoy the trip on a less formal basis, in good company with the chums from Guernsey.

Check your calendars and put your name down. Places will be allocated on a ‘first come’ basis once the deposit is paid.

I have worked and ridden with these guys from Guernsey in the past and they are “really nice blokes” and this will be a great chance to extend your riding boundaries.

Come on…. you know you want to…..

Craig came in at 52 on the stage today, approximately 10 minutes ahead of Dakar Veteran Simon Pavey who finished the stage at 58th.

Well done to both of the Welsh Resident Dakar Brits.

This puts Craig overall, at 72.

    Still climbing the leader ladder.
