D Day Anniversary Trip to France
Walk in the Footsteps of Heroes.
THERE ARE JUST AFEW PLACES LEFT ON THIS TRIP. DON’T MISS IT
Come with us for another 1st Class Biking Trip across The Channel. Following on from our War Graves Tour in April, we will be visiting Normandy in the midst of the celebrations marking the 65th Anniversary of the D Day landings.
Travelling from Dover 8am Friday the 5th of June- returning from Calais 7.30pm Sunday 7th June.
The cost of the trip is expected to be in the region of the last trip. ~(£250*), which will include your ferry crossing and accommodation in France on a bed & breakfast basis, and my guided services.
Visiting the Normandy beaches and Pegasus Bridge. A mixture of motorcycling and sight seeing, remembering the
events that shaped the world 65 years ago.
The last trip was full on the day it was publicised, so with the 65th celebrations going on places on this trip are expected to be in demand. You will need to get in quick for this one!
Let me know if you are interested, and you can pay your deposit on line at our main website.
Please note that the deposit is NON-returnable as it will be used to secure your ferry and accommodation.
As you can imagine Hotel places are much in demand in France at this time so I will need to confirm a booking in the region as soon as possible.
Once again I am limiting the numbers to just 10.
Don’t miss out.
*The final cost will be confirmed as soon as final hotel costs are verified.

Hello Andy,
This sounds like a shed load of fun. I will be going to the Pyrenees this year with the boys so that its for me. I could try and fool the wife into thinking I am just popping out for some milk like the last time. 2 Days later I arrive home withought the milk.
Hope to see you soon.
Peter

Hi Andy, sounds good, was going to visit these sites at some point this year. I think the journey to and from Dover is propably the most unpleasent i’ve ever done though, have you considered the Poole crossing?
Comment by Andy Smith on 24 March 2009:
I had considered other crossings but as it’s meant to be a bit of a biking trip (but with a purpose) I wanted to add in some miles over there as well. I know what you mean about the Dover bit though.
