1^st Class Rider Training- Cardiff

Future Events.

Advanced Riding Course.

I propose to run the next Four Day Advanced Course, leading to the RoSPA test commencing on Saturday the 30^th of June & 1^st of July.

The course will run from Briardene, Cardiff County Council Road Safety Centre, North Road, Cardiff. It is a four day course with the road ride days spread over a number of weeks to suit each candidate.

The cost is £320 (plus £50 RoSPA test fee for those wishing to take the RoSPA test at the end).

Slow Manoeuvring & Emergency Braking Day.

I propose to run a Slow Manoeuvring and Emergency Braking Day on Saturday the 21^st of July.

This 1 day course will consist of instruction and demonstrations in the Slow Control techniques that we had to master before being let loose on a Police bike,

The afternoon session will then include demonstrations and practice in the techniques for emergency braking.

You will also get the chance to practice emergency braking on a wet road surface.

This is something that we find that many riders don’t practice and hope that when they need to do it it will all slot into place without us ending up lying in the road ourselves!!

Come and practice it in a safe, controlled environment and get it right before you need it!

Cost for the day is £50 and spaces are limited. If there is a demand for places I will run another the following day on Sunday 22^nd of July.

Light refreshments will be provided.

This course will also take place at the Road Safety Centre, North Road, Cardiff.

June Ride Out;

A Date for your Diary;

The date for the June Ride out has been set as Sunday the 24^th of June.

Final details for the destination and meeting times etc will be sent out nearer to the date.
