Next Ride Out ; Starting in Bristol 9th September

Sorry it’s such short notice…but where have the ‘school holidays’ gone ??

The next ride out will be this Sunday the 9th of September.

Meeting at the BMW Dealership in Bristol for a 9.30am departure.

We will, once again call at Abergavenny Bus Station to collect any Celts who wish to join us. We should arrive there about 10.30 – 11am ish.

We will then be riding over Hay Bluff, which is the second highest road in Wales and follows the path of Offa’s Dyke. Offa was the King of Mercia who built his Dyke the length of the border in order to keep the Welsh out of his land.

But that was before ‘Out of Town Retail Parks’ were invented and he realised that if he wanted unhindered passage to shop at MacArthur Glen Designer Outlet- Bridgend he would have to let us in before he could get out.

So join us at Bath Road for a free coffee and have a browse. Last time I was there they had some extra special offers on helmets.

For example. The Airflow Open face was down from £179 to just £49. The sport integral full face was down from £210 to just £155. They also had some of the older System flip front helmets for just £99. (I bought one!)

So if you want to get ahead get a hat, but if you want to get a helmet get to Bristol!

If you visit the photo galllery of my web site (click on the link over there on the right) you can see the view from the top of Hay Bluff.

Don’t forget to read the blog 2 down about raising funds for the NSPCC, please.

There Is 1 Response So Far. »

  1. I would like to thank all those who attended the last ride out for their generosity in their donations made towards the NSPCC.

I have contacted the NSPCC to pledge support and a total of £33 was collected on Sunday. This money will be forwarded directly to the NSPCC.

This is the first ride out where a collection has been made and once again thank you for your support.
