Not this weekend!

Not this Weekend but an Extra Ride on the 16th.

Sorry for the lateness in the blog up date but I as waiting for confirmation of what is happening with the ‘bus to the show’ idea. So the Ride out that was expected by some for this weekend won’t be happening.

I will be arranging a BIKE Ride out to the NEC Show later in the month. The show runs from the 28th of November. So the ride out will coincide with this.

If the bus trip is going ahead this will be on the 6th of December but I will confirm this as soon as I can. If the bus trip doesn’t take place then this is the weekend of the Christmas Fayre at Bethlehem. Yes it’s that time of year again for posting your Christmas Cards from Bethlehem so watch out for a blog post for that.

For those of you who are yearning for a ride there will be an extra ride out taking place on the 16th of November.

This is being organised by John Anthony (John is a ride out regular and some of you may know him as he has just purchased a ‘Victory’).

This ride out is open to all and is being run in aid of Velindre Hospital in Cardiff which is a Cancer Care Hospital.

John informs me that this ride out will be an early start and I believe it is starting at the Real World ‘Victory Bikes’ shop in Aberdare and he will call at MacDonald’s at Coryton Interchange at about 8 (or just after) to collect anyone who may wish to join him there.

It would be helpful for him if you could confirm, by adding a comment on this post to let him know if you are going to join him.

His intended route is approximately 160 miles and you are welcome to join him for as much or as little as you wish.

He will be more than pleased for your support. Cancer can touch us all and is indiscriminate in choosing a victim. Some of us know more than others the devastating effect that cancer can have on any family.

So, whilst I take a small break and leave you in Johns’ capable hands please support him and go along and enjoy an extra ride this month.

John, if any of these details are incorrect or change please up date the blog with a ‘comment’ to keep us all informed. In fact please feel free to use the comment facility to add anything you wish about your event.

Cheers Chums…. I’ll up date you again soon.

Will you keep me posted on the Bethlehem weekend, I may try to convince a few folks from sunny Devon to brave the trip!

Also, would you consider placing a link to the Ocean website on your blog? we would of course be happy to do the same.

  2. Peter, No problem for a link. I’ll get it sorted. I think the Bethlehem event is the first weekend in December. I’ll confirm this and let you know as soon as I can.
