Pink Ribbon Ride Out. Saturday 20th October.

The Pink Ribbon Ride Out, to Machynlleth Saturday the 20th of October.

Please note this is a change from the normal Sunday Ride Out and is Saturday.

 Meeting at Caerphilly Mountain Snack Bar for a 9.30am departure.  Travelling to Machynlleth to show support for the family of the missing five year old, April Jones.  It is hoped that anyone attending will wear a Pink Ribbon, on themselves or their bike,or both.  I will make a collection on the ride out to donate to the April Jones fund that has been set up.

Poor Little April isn’t in the news much now but lets show that she is still in our thoughts and in our hearts.  Join us on this ride out… and bring a friend. And wear a ribbon!

An up  date on The Scottish Splendor Tour. 2013.  24th – 27th April.

This trip will be lead by our Scottish Expert, Russ who is a highly skilled rider and had passed the RoSPA Test to the highest level. Also well able to pass on his skills as an Advanced Tutor in the RoSPA Group.  He knows how to ride….. and he knows how to ride in Scotland!

This trip will consist of riding arguably some of the best roads in Europe and undoubtedly the best in the UK. Russ says, “For me the Scottish Highlands is the best all rounder bike trip anyone can wish for.  The mixture and high quality of roads, scenery, view points, cafes and restaurants etc all add up to making this an amazing trip”.

Accommodation has been secured for four nights at Kelso, Skye, Ullapool and Drymen.

The cost of this amazing trip is just £295 per person and included in that price you will get;

2 x nights accommodation = bed, breakfast and 3 course evening meal. (Wednesday & Saturday).

  1. Thank you all for a great day and experience! The trainers are very competent and knowledgeable and very approachable too. If any of you are looking for a place/organisation to do the CBT or any other form of getting into the world of biking these guys are there for you! Motorcycle “cops” or ex-“Cops” so they know what they are talking about! Oh and Andy, I think I will buy a high visibility helmet too!.. I’m too old to worry about style, so I’ll go for safety first! If someone like you wears a fluorescent helmet there must be a reason!!!
    All the best and see you soon!

  2. I’m coming, work permitting
